Mifex Credit Union is a proud partner of Kiva, an organization that connects lenders with MFIs around the globe. All lending to our borrowers is done through Kiva's website, http://www.kiva.org. Follow these steps to make a loan:
First, get to know our current clients who are need of a loan. Spend time reading through their profiles and loan requests.
Choose who you wish to lend to, choose an amount, and click the "Lend" button. Your request will be added to your shopping basket and you may continue browsing Kiva to lend to more entrepreneurs. With a loan as little as $25, you will be able to help a poor business owner climb out of poverty.
Follow the steps on Kiva through to the checkout process. Kiva accepts Visa and PayPal. Once you have lent, you will receive monthly journal updates from the borrower and will be able to see through words and pictures how their business is doing.
