Mifex Finance Program
Mifex is a microfinance institution located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Along with microloans and microinsurance, we provide the poor with services that support business growth and development. We also help you contribute to the global effort against poverty. Through our partner Kiva, you can provide financial support to the poor in Ecuador in the form of a microloan. By lending small amounts of money to small business owners in this developing country, you can empower the people with the ability to free themselves from the chains of poverty.
Who am I lending to?
We identify businesses in impoverished areas of Ecuador that have high potential for growth and success. The owners of these businesses are members of the Ecuadorian community that are facing the struggles of poverty. With the help of lenders like you, we provide access to credit so that these entrepreneurs may invest in their businesses, increase profits and alleviate the effects of poverty.

How does it work?
Thanks to our partner Kiva, lending in microfinance is simple and safe right from your computer. You can view our list of potential borrowers through our site and lend to them through Kiva.org. All you have to do is set up an account, choose a borrower and use your credit card to make PayPal transactions. You can also view potential borrowers from other parts of the world through the Kiva page.

We provide monthly updates that include payment notification, pictures and journal entries that give you, the lender, a look into the progress of the business and the entrepreneur.
