What We Do:

Help Businesses Grow

If you've ever visited a developing country, you are probably aware that the presence of large business is scarce in poor communities. Instead, these economies are supported by a multitude of very small businesses run by poor people, referred to as microenterprises. The problem with microenterprises is that they have difficulty growing and they only return minimal profits. At the heart of the microenterprise's growth problem is the fact that they do not generate enough leftover revenue to use as investment capital. Furthermore, they generally lack access to formal finance.

In order to solve this problem, we offer small-scale loans to microenterprises to use to improve their businesses. We also offer many other services that help the small business owner increase profits and plan for the future. Our goal is to offer a complete microfinance program that includes and promotes savings and insurance.

We complement our finance program by offering courses to the community that teach the skills necessary to start small businesses and run them successfully. We seek to educate and train our borrowers so they may use their investment capital wisely. We currently have two training centers in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
